Funding Priorities

The foundation focused on projects doing one or more of the following:

• Develop new ways of providing care, education, and support for young children who are living in poverty

• Strengthen low-income families with young children, including extended and nontraditional families

• Advocate for changes in child care and family services policy

• Cultivate leadership that is rooted in the community being served

• Establish models that may be used by other communities
